Avengers: Endgame star Chris Pratt has finally tied knot with his girlfriend and author of Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner Katherine Schwarzenegger on Saturday, following the five-month engagement. The couple reportedly got married in a close knit ceremony with family and close-friends at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
During the wedding, Katherine looked gorgeous in her white wedding gown and an elegant veil as she stood next to the handsome Chris outside the venue, where Katherine’s Great Uncle John F Kennedy and his wife spent their honeymoon.
While, the groom wore a classic black suit, the bride adorned a strapless gown with a detached train and lace-trimmed veil.
Following the ceremony, Chris announced his wedding on social media and thanked designer Giorgio Armani.
“Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives,” Chris said. “We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”
The wedding guests included brother of Katherine Schwarzenegger, Patrick and his model girlfriend Abby Champion, her father and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, mother Maria Shriver and Chris’s six-year-old son Jack along with his first wife Anna Faris. Rob Lowe, groom’s close friend and cast mate of Parks and Recreation, was also present at the wedding along with his wife and sons.
Following the wedding, the guests enjoyed cocktails while listening to a live band. The food items during the reception of the couple, made a “very vibrant menu”. Chris also made a speech thanking the guests during the reception which was followed by the dance on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic and Uptown Funk.
According to the sources the bridal shower of Katherine Schwarzenegger, held at her mother’s home, was a much bigger event than the wedding as the couple felt the wedding should only involve close friends and family.
